Taitung Forest District Office (hereafter ‘Office’), Jiaming Lake National Trail Cabin and Camp Space Fee Standards
Siangyang and Jiaming Lake Cabin Fee Standards Holidays: NT$600 per bed pace
(Fridays, Saturdays, and the day before consecutive holidays to the final day of the consecutive holidays. )
Normal week days: NT$400 per bed space.
Siangyang Camp Space as well as Jiaming Lake Cabin and Camp Space Fee standards Holidays: NT$600 per camp space
(Fridays, Saturdays, and the day before consecutive holidays to the final day of the consecutive holidays. )
Normal week days: NT$500 per camp space.
Regulations Governing Refund for Cancellations, Reductions in bed space. To cancel a reserved bed space, the applicant should go to the reservation website (http://jmlnt.forest.gov.tw) via his or her applicant account to cancel the reservation or reduce number of bed spaces reserved. The first day of the duration of stay shall be taken as the Calculation Starting Date for calculating refunds. Explanations as follows:
  • Standard of Calculation for the Calculation Starting Date: For single-day reservations, the check-in date shall be taken as the Calculation Starting Date.
  • For reservations spanning multiple days, the check-in date shall be taken as the Calculation Starting Date.
  1. Refunds for Cancellation of Reservation:
    • Successful cancellations received 8 days before the Calculation Starting Date will receive 100% refund.
    • Successful cancellations received 4 to 7 days before the Calculation Starting Date will receive 50% refund.
    • Cancellations of bed spaces receive 3 days before the calculation date and no-shows will receive 0% refund.
  2. Refunds for reducing bed spaces:
    • Calculation method for refunds received 8 days before the Calculation Starting Date.
      Cabin: Fees for single guest x Number of guests reduced = amount of refund.
      Camp Space: No refund
    • Calculation method for refund requests received 4 days to 7 days before the Calculation Starting Date:
      Cabin: Fees for single guest x Number of guests reduced x 50% = Amount of refund
      Camp Space: No refund
    • Requests for reducing bed spaces received 3 days or fewer from the Calculation Starting Date, and no-shows on the check-in date, shall receive no refund.
  3. If, during the planned period of stay, the Central Weather Bureau issues warnings or reports of dangerous weather conditions such as massive downpour at the Haituan Township region of Taitung County, typhoon warnings, earthquakes, and circumstances beyond human control such as disabled roads, public announcements of sealed roads, or the Office proactively issues stay-away orders, the Office shall return 100% of fees, but applications for delay of check-in date or requests for arrangement of another check-in date are not accepted.
  4. If during the expected period of stay, the Central Weather Bureau issues a typhoon sea warning, and the alert areas include the eastern, southeastern, and southern regions of Taiwan, applications for full refund may be made for the whole party from 2 days before the warning broadcast to the lifting of the warning. However, refunds for reductions in the number of guests staying, or requests for delays in the check-in date or arrangement for another check-in date are not accepted.
Parties who have acquired bed spaces/camp spaces shall wire fees into the designated accounts according to the fee standards. When entering the trail, parties shall provide permits indicating the allotted bed spaces/camp spaces at the Cabin, and accept the verification proceedings carried out jointly between Office staff and Hsiang-Yang Police Station.
The Office reserves all rights to make modification to these regulations.
